Lyceum Northwestern University

Lyceum Northwestern University Philippines, No Donation, Best Medical College, MCI/WHO approved and direct admission.

  • A medical college in Philippines is situated in Dagupan City. The college took its first breath under the dedicated hard work by Dr. Francisco Quimson Duque and Mrs. Florencia Tiongson Duque in 1969.

L-NU came into existence as a single-room nursing school at the Dagupan city Polyclinic Hospital and was formerly called the Dagupan city school of Nursing. In 1974, after the acquisition of the Northwestern Educational Institution by Dr. Duque, the merger was collectively born as Lyceum – Northwestern. During the later years, L-NU spearheaded the consortium of local tertiary schools and started the Northern Philippines Institute of Medicine. L-NU achieved the status of being the "first medical school of North." The Institute began its journey through the enrollment of 19 students. The consortium lasted two years.

Vision

To achieve the status of being the Regional Center for Excellence in medical education by 2020. To hone the graduates in such a way that they are capable primary health care physicians whose morals and ethics reflect in their work and whose principles motivate other individuals to walk in their footsteps. To make the graduates aware of the obligations of a physician in the practices of medicine.

Mission

The Dr. Francisco Q. Duque Medical Foundation vows to prepare its students for life by giving adequate intellectual and interactive training such that they develop sufficient moral values and compassionate attitude which are essential traits of a physician. We also teach the students of how important it is as a physician to be responsive to the needs of the country.
